Hi everyone,
I have 17 units of Access Points(AIR-AP1041N-E-K9) and a Wireless LAN Controller(AIR-WLC2125-k9).
I know that these access point are standalone, but can this controller be used with these access point?
If not what can be done to make the controller control all these access point?
please advice?

The WLC can work with the WAPs you've mentioned as long as the WAPs are running the correct IOS and the WLC is running 7.X firmware.
To convert the WAPs from autonomous to CAPWAP/LWAP is as simple as copying the lightweight IOS and booting from it.

the IOS in the WAP is below:

That's the wrong software. You need LIGHTWEIGHT IOS.

have the LWAPP/CAPWAP recovery image on your tftp server.
The image name should have something like k9w8
on the AP run the following command:
AP#archive download-sw /overwrite /reload tftp://......................

To convert the unit fro
IOS to LWAPP you just need to download the LWAPP image to a tftp server and then use the normal ios upgrade procedure with the archive command using the lwapp image instead of the IOS and once the ap reboots it will be in lwapp mode.
