Access point with 5Ghz band as backhaul and 2.4Ghz as access point for clie

Hi all,

i need an Access Point which can use 5Ghz band as backhaul and 2.4Ghz as access point for clients without the mesh feature.

And how about another solution is to use 1200 AP to perform multiple link role (bridge and AP). Example using 802.11a as the backhaul to root AP to avoid adverse throughput impact and 802.11b/g for client access

Take a look at the 1400 series autonomous access point.

We realized this scenario (5GHz Backbone and 2.4GHz Client Access) with the 1242 APs and it worked fine.
