I have a very small site with aeroscout RFID tags (some 10 T2 tags). It seems that Aeroscout will not deliver on the activator the we ordered (I think they want me to buy $3K worth of software with it). Lucky I managed to get our RFID tags activated, but the batteries are now failing. Does any one have an activator they they no longer use that I could buy? Is there anyone out there had similar experience?
I was told be an AS engineer that can use a demo software version as all I am doing is using it is to set the tag beacon interval. The tags are being used for education only, so all I need is for the controllers to be able to see them.
It's very hard to remain postive about someones product when they just won't even communicate.
Dear rmcconnell, I would be happy to assist with your order and see why you did not receive the items you need. In order to activate/program tags you do need a Tag Management Suite, which includes a Tag Activator (hardware) and Tag Manager (software). This is a licensed product.
The $3k price is high for this Tag Management Suite; it sounds like that is being confused with a license for the AeroScout Context-Aware Location Engine that is embedded in the MSE (Mobility Services Engine).
I would be happy to investigate your referenced order or provide you a proposal to aquire the items needed.
