AIR-1232AG & Dell Wireless 1490 PCI-Express Mini-card Problems

We have 3 AIR-1232AG AP's setup in a controller-less enviornment that operate flawlessly with every wireless device we have with the exeption of one:

Dell Wireless 1490 Dual Band WLAN Mini-Card running driver version 4.10.40 (the latest driver).

After connecting to the AP & pulling an IP address from our DHCP we immediately begin getting very bad packet loss followed (usually within 5-30 seconds) by a total loss of connectivity.

Here is a typical ping -t of the event:

Ping statistics for 10.0.0.173:

Packets: Sent = 76, Received = 48, Lost = 28 (36% loss),

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 175ms, Average = 10ms

The same problem occurs when we use the current driver (4.10.40) on our older laptops equipped with 1470 series wireless chipsets. However the problem is resolved by installing the older driver 3.100.35.

The 1490's are not compatable with older drivers; only the 4.10.40.

The above url states that the dell wireless 1490 with driver version 4.10.40 is Cisco Compatible v4 compliant.

The AP's are running 12.3(8)JA2.
