AIR-AP1121G basestation reporting 802.11B radio!

Dear all;

I have a AIR-AP1121G basestation. Recently upgraded to software version 12.3(7)JA2. Now it's reporting it has a 11B radio and hence the wireless interface is down and won't come up.

See:

bhap01#sh int dot11Radio 0

Dot11Radio0 is reset, line protocol is down

Hardware is 802.11B Radio, address is 0000.0000.0000 (bia 0000.0000.0000)

I've tried to downgrade back to version 12.3(7)JA1 (where it did work) and it's still in the same situation.

I have bootloader version 12.3(2)JA3; don't know if that's significant.

Should I return to Cisco for replacement? Seems like it's quite faulty to me.

Thanks for any help!

Drew

Re: AIR-AP1121G basestation reporting 802.11B radio!

Just to add... all I'm getting in the log is:

Interface Dot11Radio0, loading the radio firmware (flash:/c1100-k9w7-mx.123-7.JA1/5101.img)

I'm guessing 5101.img is not right for this AP?
