AIR-AP1230B-A-K9 and WS-C3524-PWR-XL

Hello, i'm setting up some new ap's, connected to some 3750 access switches and 3524 access switches.

Everything seems to be okay except teh ap's connected to the ws-c3524 switch. Is there not enough sufficient poe to run these ap's on this switch? Its hard to find information as this switch model is eol.

Hi Luke,

Sorry to say the AP 1240 Series can only be powered by 802.3af power capable switches :( The older 3524 will only supply Cisco pre-standard power. Here is some background info.
