AIR-CAP3702E-A-K9and WLC5508

Hello,

I have a 5508 WLC with the 7.6.120.0 Software Version.  I connect some new, out-of-the-box AIR-CAP3702E-A-K9 AP's and they show:

CleanAir Admin Status = Enable

CleanAir Oper Status = DOWN

When I go to the "Wireless" Tab, then to "Radios" on the menu and select "Configure" on the AP, CleanAir Admin Status is on "Enable."

Does this mean that the AP is doing the CleanAir?

Thank you in advance.

No the AP is not doing Clean Air if the Oper Status is down.

Go to the main 802.11b/g/n and a/n/ac tab and make sure that Clean Air is enabled globally:
