AIR-CB21AG - stuck in Authenticating

I am using the AIR-CB21AG card in an XP laptop, I am authenticating to the AP using WPA-PSK with AES encryption.

Everything works fine, however after approx 12 hours the card seems to un-associate from the AP and just says 'authenticating'. If I re-select the profile, it connects instantly. All power saving facilities are turned off on the laptop and there are no errors showing on either the AP or the Laptop.

Any ideas?

it could be becaus of the encryption keys are different in both the client and AP

But it wouldn't work in the first place if that were the case.
