Hi everyone,

I'd like to know why the acces point is broadcasting in speed "G". I'm not sure about mbssid or not that effect to speed of wireless.

How to configure to able "N"?

You need either OPEN authentication or you can use WPA2 AES/PSK.

You also need to enable WMM.

Hi Leo,

I do that but still shows on G

I enable wmm on int dot0 with "dot11 qos mode wmm"

CLI below:

dot11 ssid XXX

   vlan 1

   authentication open

   authentication key-management wpa version 2

   guest-mode

!

!

interface Dot11Radio0

no ip address

no ip route-cache

!

encryption vlan 1 mode ciphers tkip

!

ssid XXX

antenna gain 0

Hi Scott,

I found the problem from encryption vlan 1 mode ciphers tkip after enter to int dot 0

after enter radio is reset and it appear to "G"

I'm change to use this "encryption vlan 1 mo ciphers aes-ccm" after reset show "G" also

Can you tell me why "G" is show after enter encryption vlan x command?

Thanks

What shows "G", your client adapter? Is your client adapter 802.11n? What you had initially was wrong. 802.11n standard only supports open or the use if aes when using wpa2. If your using wpa2/aes and your client card supports 802.11n, your device should associate using 802.11n as long as its close enough to modulate properly.

My notebook, when move the pointer on SSID show "G".

But if remove encryption vlan x "N" is up.

Now, I found in release note that 802.11n HT rate apply only to No Encryption.

It cleared

Thanks
