Aironet 1000 site survey without controllers

How can I do a site survey with aironet 1010 and 1020 without controllers?

Hello everybody,

I don't know why but it use to be some doc about the site survey mode with the Aironet 1000 series but the link do not work anymore (may change).

For the one who want to know how to change to surveymode, open the small case of the AP, imbric the jumper on the right.

Connect to the AP with telnet to 192.168.1.1/24.

config wlan 1 -> 802.11b/g wireless mode

config wlan 0 -> 802.11a wireless mode

Ex:

set channel 11

set wirelessmode 11g -> 802.11g

....

Reboot (necessary to take effect).

This is no longer supported as opening the 10xx AP voids the warranty.
