Aironet 1242AG no DHCP to radio side

Hi

I've some problems to setup the aironet (c1240-k9w7-tar.123-8.JA2) to act as dhcp-server only for the WiFi user. The AP self has a fix IP address and I want to setup, that all WiFi users obtain a IP from the AP. Isn't that possible with the 1242? Because I cant find some options in the GUI and nothing in the docs.

Thx

Marco

Marco,

This can be done, but must be done from the CLI. You will also need to set an ip helper address on the gateway, to point back to the AP that will be serving up the DHCP scopes.
