Aironet 340/350 on Compaq IPAQ 38xx / CE 3.0

Installed aironet 350 on IPAQ, current drivers. Associates with AP340 & DHCP states IP given (verified by mac). still cannot access anything from IPAQ (IE) or mail. No ping to test connectivity? Am I missing something or will Aironet 350 not work with AP340 or IPAQ?

Since there has been no response to your post, it appears to be either too complex or too rare an issue for other forum members to assist you. If you don't get a suitable response to your post, you may wish to review our resources at the online Technical Assistance Center (http://www.cisco.com/tac) or speak with a TAC engineer. I use a 350 on my iPAQ 3635 with no problems. At first I had the same problem as you and I fixed it by writing the WEP key via a laptop instead of the PDA. I suggest that you use vxUtil to see and set ip http://www.cam.com/windowsce.html

Hi,

I had the same problem too. But I assigned an IP Address manually to the iPaq and it works.

350 cards should work with Win CE on IPAQ..Its supported too.

Install the "VxUtil" on IPAQ and under that utility click on "I" to see what ip address is allocated to 350 card..Also there is a "Ping" utility in that VxUtil to test the the ip connectivity.
