Aironet 350 PCMCIA with Enternet 300 PPPoE client

When using Aironet 350 PCMCIA card as my network device for Enternet PPPoE client, my PC gets very slow each time traffic is transmitted. I do NOT have this problem when using the wireless card without the PPPoE client (ie within a LAN).

Is it a known problem?

I would suspect too much packet overhead, retries and packet loss. Maybe decreasing MTU would help but it will stil be slower than without.

Mostly its problwm with MTU..MTU for PPPoE should be 1496 or lower..

So pl. see that you can change the MTU in your PPPoE client software at PC.

Or there are some other way as well. Pl. see here
