Aironet 4800, radio keeps turning "off"

Had Aironet 4800 PCMCIA card running fine under WIN98SE. Upgraded system to WIN2000-PRO, loaded new drivers, firmware for 4800. Associates and then drops conn. due to "Radio on 4800 is turned off". I turn it back on and in less than 1 minute same thing. Also, when it associates and I run troubleshooting, it says that the TCP/IP protocol is not running on the 4800 card. I check network connections, it is running, with DHCP. The device I associate with is Linksys. I switch to another 4800 card, same story. Appreciate any hints, or help.

Re: Aironet 4800, radio keeps turning "off"

If you upgraded the firmware to the latest 8.2.3 it requires Aironet Client Utility (ACU) 5.02.005. If you have not upgraded the ACU, you might want to upgrade the ACU.

Re: Aironet 4800, radio keeps turning "off"

Well, I tried with the latest firmware, drivers, ACU. Not working. The radio goes off at will. Now I have it working with ACU 5.01.0001, and its appropriate firmware, drivers(legacy). Thanks for your suggestions, but I am happy with this version.
