We are installing outdoor AP's and need info on how high the 2506 mast mount antenna's can be mounted. Cisco says 10 - 15 feet. We are using the outdoor 1310 AP's to cover scanning of steel coils at our facility. The coils are mostly stacked 2 high or about 10 feet. Will mounting the antennas higher give us more coverage? We are not sure how the signal disperses from the antenna.

You can probably go a little higher, but I wouldn't go past 20'. All you really need to do it test it out and maybe you can go higher or not. The only issue you will have is multiparty due to the steel coils. Going higher will not increase the coverage, unless your planing to use the wireless 10' high.
