Hello !
My situation:
I have laptop and playstation3. If i start media server in the laptop and connect laptop with playstation via UTP cable, playstation found media server successfully, but if i try to connect laptop and playstation via wireless network, playstation can't find media server.
Both devices in one network, they get ip/mask/gw/broadcast from dhcp and they can go to internet, i can send ping from laptop to playstation and get answers.
In the wireshark logs i saw that laptop sent requests to 239.255.255.250(SSDP) and to 224.0.0.22(IGMP).
Maybe my AP doesn't know how to work with multicast ?
