AP 2602 Auto-Mode Feature

Dear Team,

I am having Cisco Ap2602E which is in LWAPP Mode. I downgraded it to Autonomous Mode as my WLC is not working. I thought AP will come in N/W.

My Wi-Fi Clients are able to search this AP through its SSID but could not associate to it nor it comes in n/w.

I tried on other AP as well.

Want to know does Cisco AP2602E support Auto-Mode. Whether it works in normal n/w without WLC.

In FlexConnect, if your AP can't contact the WLC, the AP can still work.

However, if you reboot the AP, whilst in the state of unable to contact the WLC, the AP will stop servicing wireless clients.

There are many configure examples for autonomous APs in Cisco site.

Check this config guide for example:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/12.4_10b_JA/configuration/guide/scg12410b.html
