AP as another AP's client

Hi to all,

I have a question:

having an AP with 2 PCMCIA slots I’d like to have all the clients to be connected to a wireless card (e.g. channel 1) and the same AP connected to another AP as a client by means of the other wireless card (e.g. channel 2). Is it possible?

Does exist an AP like this?

Thank you in advance

I don't think that its possible..We need to know the model of the Access Point you have..

AP can not become client to another AP .

In Cisco AP we have repeater mode , where

repeater ap can connect to root AP

so

client --root AP ---repeater AP --client

Also we have bridges where non root bridge can

connect to root bridge
