i have a WLC (5508) - trying to enable AP group vlans based on instructions from:
however, my problem is that i don't have the 'ap group vlans feature enable' checkbox. is there another place to enable this? has anyone tried this out and found the same problem?
The example shows old version (4.0). This is different than the version you are probably using (6.0 or 7.0).
In the example the feature called AP Groups VLAN, in newer versoins it is only "AP Groups".
in the example it shows the location in GUI of the feature in:WLANs-> AP Groups VLAN.
in newer versoins it is in:WLANs-> Advanced-> AP Groups.
you can ignore this check box "ap group vlans feature enable". The feature will be simply enabled after you create AP groups and map APs to SSID.
Here is how to configure AP groups in 7.0 version: http://tiny.cc/dqfhcw
Try it and it should work.
