AP hostname change

Does anyone know what impact changing an AP hostname would have on underlying platforms or apps? I'm asking because I know that a cert is generated during conversion from heavy to light weight but I don't think the hostname is embedded anywhere in the cert. What about other cert based authentication? Any other gotchya's??

There will be no impact on changing the host name, when the certificate is created it is based off of the MAC address of the AP and the time.

When I tried to change the AP hostname, I saw about 300ms Dot11Radio0 interface reset on the console. My laptop did not detect this signal loss during the change. But if you run voice application, users may notice. You better test it before doing on your production.
