Can the 3550 power or 3524-PWR-XL capable of driving the new 1142 AP's?

I think it's not capable to driving the 1142 AP.

The 1130s and 1240s can be powered by the 3550s, but not by the 3524s.

The datasheet for the 1142agn access points says: "At only 12.95 watts of power, the 1140 series is the only platform to combine the power of dual-radio 802.11n with the efficiency of standard PoE"

1142 can operate at full power using standard PoE (15.4W). The only difference is that the range or coverage area has been throttled back. 1142, like the other 1100's series, is designed for office space, hence, does not require a large coverage area.
