Not sure if it can be done but I have a area where coverage is poor but have no way of extending cabling for new AP. Root AP is a LWAP2600. Would like to setup AP1252G as repeater and connect to root AP2600. I dont see on controller where AP2600 can be set to root. So far I have had not luck, IOS on AP 1252 is 12.4(10b)JA1. Model 5508 controller with 7.2.111.3 software.
Anyone have any luck making this happen?
