Associated to "No Name Specified" problem

Hi all,

I use AP 1200, 1100, and Cisco Cards. When I disable the Aironet extensions on the AP. I didn't see anymore on which AP I am associated.

It's written "No Name Specified" in the ACU.

Does anybody know how to have the system Name of the AP in the ACU when I retrieve the Aironet extensions and I use Cisco Cards.

Regards

Check if Aironet Extensions are disabled under interface Dot11Radio0. If so enable it assuming that you have all Cisco clients, you can safely go to the Network Interfaces tab, then the Dot11Radio0 tab, and the Settings subtab (across the top), then scroll down to Aironet Extensions, select the Enabled radio button and click Apply.

If you have non-Cisco clients in your network, Aironet Extensions will need to remain disabled.

I did come accross this problem on AP1200 which I didn't specified snmp string. After key in snmp string the AP hostname reappear.
