Bad Flash memory?

Does this message necessarily mean that the flash memory is damaged?

%Error opening flash:/ (Invalid argument)

No space information available

This message could also be due to a corrupted flash. Therefore, please also consider doing

the two simple steps:

1) fsck flash:

2) format flash:

Then try upgrading the software version and check if you are getting this error.
