can the 1550 and 1522 operate in the same mesh configuration?

Have a site that has a 1522 installed. I need to add two new outdoor AP's. Would the 1550 work along with the 1522 or would I have to replace it?

Shawn,

Yes, the 1550s and 1520s are fully interoperable. I recommend you deploy 1550s at the center (roots) of the mesh and the 1552s at the edge to avoid backhaul bottlenecks.
