I recently bought an AIR-CB21AG-A-K9 card and as soon as I connect it to my laptop, it crashes on me.
I have a Compaq EVO N1020v.
I rebuilt the whole machine (needed to anyway) with win XP professional and SP2. Same thing happy; as soon as I plug my card in, the machine crashed(freezed). I also tried connecting the card then boot the machine but it still crashed. I've tried disabling the card in my hardware profile but it still crashed on me.
Does this laptop work well with any other Wireless Card. Because since this is a new card, you could try this card on a different laptop and check if it works. I feel there could be some problem with the PCMCIA slot on the laptop.
