I dont understand the logs, but i see :

there is power problem with the power line wap and ip

I report the fault wap???

But already installed another wap and changed the switch port and the problem ended...

Errrr ...

The bootup shows OK with me.  Are you suppose to operate this WAP in controller-based or autonomous?

WAP in controller-based

What problems do you think is it?

Console into the ap, reboot the ap and post the complete output.

Thanks,

I was checking another thing, usually the switches we use here in my work supports a maximum of 14W per port or 15.4w, this wap is consuming 15.2w

Is this the problem??

the strange to me is that,in this same sw I have several WAP and they all use 12.2w

The device type in sw for WAP usually appears as LAP1131AG-AIR-E-K9 ... but this WAP appears as Ieee PD ...
What problems do you think is it?

I remembered to configure cdp in the switch port, but the problem continued ...

I have to activate the cdp in WAP??

auto-negotiation takes 1515 milli-seconds to complete

ethernet link up, 100 mbps, full-duplex

Ethernet port 0 initialized: link is up

WTF ... This was taken from my request for you to bootup the WAP and post the output.

auto-negotiation takes 10000 milli-seconds to complete

ERROR: timeout waiting for auto-negotiation to complete

ERROR: fail to bring ethernet link up

This is the output taken when Scott asked you for the same thing.

So the question is this:  What is plugged in to the FastEthernet0 interface of the WAP?

If it's a Cisco switch, can you specify EXACTLY the model?

yes it's a cisco switch.

WS-C3560-48PS-S

WS-C3560-48PS-S

Just want to make sure that the copper ports are non-GigabitEthernet right?

If this is so, do you have a 2960/2960S, 3560G (or better) or 3750G (or better) that you could "use"?  You don't need PoE.  I just need you to run a TDR test using the switch models I've mentioned.

hello,

i already solved the problem, it's very silly

at the time we tested the network cables that will have the rack, etc. and apparently the pairs they were all ok, today I returned to make sure the cable 4 or 5 times and failed for some reason the cable 6 (power) ... but so awesome failed once.

I see the cable and the same panel installed okay, but the middle plug is loose, it makes poor contact, and sometimes it works, others do not ...

I thank all the help;)
