Hi,

I am currently using a Cisco 1200 AP with windows IAS 2003 for the wireless solution. I have also implemented client and server certicate for both the client and the IAS server. The problem here is that I am able to get connected to the wireless AP and the IAS server logs a successful authentication but I am getting an invalid IP 169.254.177.45. I have tested using peap/chapv2 but also getting the same problem.

Pls help! Thanks.

Rgds,

Kelvin

Looks like you have not configured the DHCP server for the clients connecting to the AP. The clients can either be configured with a static IP address or must be configured to receive IP from a DHCP server. Check if the DHCP server is configured to provide IP for the clients. This should solve the problem.
