Cisco 2811 DOT11-7-CCKM_AUTH_FAILED: HWIC-AP-G-A

Hello,

I am currently have an issue with an HWIC-AP-G-A installed in a 2811 Router. Every hour or so, wireless clients are unable to authenticate to the dot11radio anymore, and the only thing that fixes the problem is a reboot.

I am running c2800nm-advsecurityk9-mz.124-22.T.bin.

I have seen some posts where a 877 has had similar problems, but have not found a fix to this.

Can anyone confirm that this is a code problem? If so, which code version has this been fixed in, if fixed at all?

Some cards have issues associating & the ssids may not be broadcast. This is only a problem for some types of PCs/drivers.

I have the same problem with an 1841 router. Finally found a TAC engineer that could help. He said there were bugs in the 12.4(22)T code. He suggested downgrading to 12.4(20)T
