Cisco Band Select and Data Rates

Is it possible to use Cisco Band Select on a Cisco 5508 WLAN controller and still disable the 802.11b data rates?

Yes, you can disable the 'b' data rates and still get the band select, so long as the radio policy in the WLAN is set to all.
