I have few queries on Local policies on WLC.
If certain device type(like windows is not available in the Local Policies, whether that device will get policy enforced or not?
I have seen windows 8 device package is not available in 7.5 release. The issue is, policy that i created for blocking other device ex. Blackberry, is getting applied to Windows 8 and users are not able to connect. I am suspecting as widows 8 package is not available to wlc and it doesn't recognize. So it applies the defined policies to win8 users???
In 7.6, i am seeing windows 8 device type available, so if i upgrade this will get resolved?
