We have 1242 AG access points deployed for Wi-Fi access in LWAAP mode. After joining the APs on to the controller we try to configure the SNMP strings for the APs on the WLC but cannot find anywhere to do it.
Is snmp supported in the lightweight AP
if it is, then how I can configure it, via WLC or WCS?
Appreciate any feedback.

LAP is different from Autonomous AP, it is stick to the WLC, so you can only configure SNMP for WLC, not for LAP. All the infor about the LAP can be obtained from WLC

Not without standing on your head (OID-wise)... can I configure a community on the LAP and have it stick once the WLC takes charge?
