I am using a WLC 4402 with Aironet 1242AG LWAPPs and have one subnet/VLAN for the LWAPPs and the controller.
I would like to know that if I disable DHCP for the subnet to which my LWAPPs are a part of and configure them with static IP addresses, whether or not something may break down the road. I tested it successfully, but I can't find any definitive documentation on this configuration and I want to be sure that the APs will be able to find the controller without the need for name resolution or DHCP option 43.
