cswgina.dll error on Windows Startup

After installing the recent ACU Windows XP wont start up. Gives an error cswgina.dll failed to load and only option is to restart. I have tried everything from safe mode to running Windows set up to repair windows. Did not select LEP since It is not being used. Had to instal the new version of ACU since got a prompt to instal NDIS version 8.

Try this:

Missing cswgina.dll File After Removing or Upgrading to ACU Version 4.14.001

After removing or upgrading ACU to version 4.14.001, the cswgina.dll file can become missing if you respond incorrectly to a message indicating that a file is locked (CSCdt42742). (The appropriate response is to click Reboot.) If you respond incorrectly, a message appears just before the Windows logon screen opens indicating that you are missing a file called cswgina.dll and to see your system administrator to retrieve it.

To work around this problem, boot to a DOS prompt. Then copy the msgina.dll file in the WinNT/System32 directory over to a file named cswgina.dll.
