I have a question that someone can probably answer pretty easily. My wireless users are very picky. They don't want to see multiple SSIDs. Especially when you have a dual band AP. So, I would like to have the same SSID for each antenna (a and b) on the Cisco 1200 AP. What are your recommendations experiences with attempting this?
I've done that on a 1200 running IOS with no problem. Just set the same SSID up for each radio interface.
The 3com dual-band card I have in my laptop seems to happily roam between a and b without a problem.
