I currently have a 1200 AP providing DHCP for wireless users on a single floor of a govt. bldg. Wireless and wired connections are on different subnets. My AP is issuing IP addresses to not only the wireless cards, but the wired as well. How can I make sure that the AP only assigns IP's to a wireless device, without disabling the onboard wired NIC?

What you are saying does not make any sense. Please provide more information as to the exact topology.

What doesn't make sense? This bldg is segmented by floor, and by wireless vs. wired connections. The AP is supplying DHCP addresses from the wireless pool to wired NIC's.
Please advise as to what other info is needed.
