DOES ANYONE KNOW A BACKDOOR INTO THE 340/4800 AFTER CODE DOWNLOAD FAILURE

Please help

I have downloaded the latest code to the 340/4800 Workgroup bridges and this killed the box dead (so beware) after code download the box did a stack dump (language error reported)and after rebooting now the console port is completetly dead (this is on a 4800 bridge and a 340 bridge.

I am trying to find how to download a code to flash in this situation.

I have tried to report the problem too Cisco BUT THEY DO NOT WANT TO KNOW.

I don't have a WGB on hand to confirm this, but with the AP or bridge you can interrupt the kernal load by hitting esc, then use X-modem to replace the files. Of course, you'll need one working unit to get the good files from.
