My question is does Cisco support Wireless Distribution Service (WDS), and if so, any help or links on where it talks about this?
I realize Cisco has something called Wireless Domain Service (WDS), which is something totally different than the "other" WDS which is supported on almost all major manufacturers gear these days.
Basically the WDS I am talking about, is a way of linking AP's as if they were ports on a switch, bridging traffic to eachother. Usually each end point in WDS has to define the remote sides MAC address.
Netgear, Linksys, Apple Airport, etc all support what I am talking about, but I can't seem to get *any* wireless gear from these manufacturers to connect to an Aironet AP 350 running IOS c350-k9w7-mx.122-13.JA1.
Any help is appreciated.
