Downgrading from 5.0.148.2 ED to 4.2.130.0 MD?

Dear Friends,

I have this 2 WiSM's configured with around 200 LWAPP's renamed from MAC address to respective names .Mobility group has been configured, so as VLAN's and WLANs.

The firmware version is 5.0.148.2 ED, is it possible for me to downgrade the above mentioned version to 4.2.130.0 MD.

Will this affect my exisiting configuration ? Please advise.

Reason for this change is : I have heard the review that 4.2 is a stable firmware.

I have done it on a 2106 controller without incident, for that many Ap's i would allow approx 30-45 mins for the Ap's to download the new firmware and reboot.
