Ethernet Bridging - RAP connectivity failure to the WLC

Hi,

I am designing a Mesh network with Ethernet Bridging feature enable. I am planning to have more than one RAP on the mesh. I wonder what happen if the RAP connectivity to the WLC fails in one of the RAPs. I know in this case the RAP will become MAP trying to connect to the controller through another MAP or RAP. But, what happen with the Ethernet Bridging configuration on the RAP that lose its connectivity to the WLC?, will the VLANs bridged to a new RAP?

I will appreciate any clarification on this matter.

Best regards,
Esteban

You define the RAP and MAP vlan mapping for the interface in Ethernet bridging... So if a RAP looses its Ethernet connection, it will become a MAP and join a RAP if possible.  The Ethernet bridging really isn't used anymore, because the Ethernet is down.  If the Ethernet comes back up, it will change to a RAP and perform how it was prior to the Ethernet going down.

Thank you Scott for your answer, that's what I supposed.
