Re: File verification successful, but file not found

It looks like corrupted flash memory. Try to redo the image upgrade. This time, choose to erase and format the flash memory prior copying image to the flash.

If you simply delete an old version of IOS and upload a new version, the verify command will not automatically check the hash. This means that to get an automatic verification, you must erase the flash, upload IOS, verify IOS, and then upload all the SDM files.

Also it seems to be a filesystem issue, when the flash is formated into low end file system (#erase flash:); once the flash gets formatted in DOS file system (#format flash:) we are able to verifying the flash.

Re: File verification successful, but file not found

We were trying same on different 871w router:

r#verify flash:c870-advsecurityk9-mz.124-22.T.bin

Verifying file integrity of flash:c870-advsecurityk9-mz.124-22.T.bin..

[skip]

..Done!

Embedded Hash MD5 : 6E99F5B06BC66204569E601D069470D3

Computed Hash MD5 : 6E99F5B06BC66204569E601D069470D3

CCO Hash MD5 : 90AC7558323FA7A5F11F4CD0386937FD

Embedded hash verification successful.

File system hash verification failed for file flash:c870-advsecurityk9-mz.124-22.T.bin(No such file or directory).
