Is it possible to use an external website that already has logins setup and created through it as the authentication for access to the internet?
such as when you go to an airport you have the option to do a paid service and it wont let you go any where but their website unless you pay for useage.
the case i am looking at would require that they be directed to the company website and if they want to use the wireless they would have to create an account and then be able to access everything.
If this is possible what equipment supports this and is there any documentation on how to configure this type of setup.

Well it depends on your budget for and what you really want.... For restaurants and coffee shops, they use a 3rd party like Normadix or PurpleWiFi
You can use this on any wireless system. For enterprise, you can look at Cisco ISE and self registration for wireless access. Hard to say without really knowing what your trying to achieve.
Thanks,
Scott

i dont have all of the details yet, but they say they want the customer to have a login to their external website to do this. i was looking at using a WLC but from what i can find you still have to use the cisco template to use this feature.
