Has anyone used a Compaq W200 card with a 802.11g Cisco AP?

I just discovered today that my laptop with a Compaq W200 card will not associate with the new 1231G AP's. It associates to the b radios just fine using the Funk Odyssey client.

I have tried playing with radio settings on the G AP with no luck. And, now I have done something to one of my G AP's and it won't even associate Cisco cards:) Yippee.

Any ideas on the Compaq card issue?

Thanks

Take a look at this from http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/wireless/airo1200/accsspts/bu12213/b12213ja.htm#84090

Throughput Option for 802.11g Radio Blocks Association by 802.11b Clients

"When you configure the 802.11g access point radio for best throughput, the access point sets all data rates to basic (required). This setting blocks

association from 802.11b client devices. The best throughput option appears on the web-browser interface Express Setup and Radio Settings pages and in the speed CLI configuration interface command."

Also, there was an issue in some IOS versions with the W200 as noted here: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/wireless/airo1200/accsspts/bu12213/b12213ja.htm#50474

Actually, I found out my problem was that I had open authentication checked, but I had to set it to "with EAP".
