How does client wireless card with 1x1 spatial steam support 802.11 n ?

Hi all,

I have a doubt, My wireless client card is 1x1 11b/g/nWireless LAN PCI Express Half Mini Card Adapter

which has only 1X1 spatial stearms, But as far I know 802.11n (which gives greater bandwidth upto 150 mbps in 2.4Ghz and 300 & 450 Mbps in 5ghz) uses the MIMO technology i.e Multiple receivers and Multiple trammitters to give thar bandwidth

Here in may case, I have only 1X1 spatial, How does this support 802.11n in 2.4GHz?

Here is one example that explains it. Just search for 802.11n 1x1 and there are many articles explaining the various streams.

You just need 1x1 to support 802.11n. Many phones the are 802.11n are 1x1.

How does client wireless card with 1x1 spatial steam support 802

How many spatial streams does 802.11g, 802.11a have?

If they are having the same 1X1 spatail streams then  why don't  they support N series bandwidth (70mbps in 2.4Ghz and 150 mbps in 5Ghz) with same modulation techinque as OFDM?
