How to change a 1:1 to a N+1 cluster

Hi all,

My customer has a 1:1 cluster, now I want to change the setup for OEAP600, this means I have to set the NAT Address on the Management Interface. This seems not be possible in a 1:1 Cluster. -> I have to break the cluster, set the NAT Address and make it a cluster again.

Instead of building the cluster again I would like to make it  to a N+1 failover. Yes, I loose AP and Client SSO but will have other advantages.

What do I need to do if I want to make a N+1 from a 1:1 Cluster?

What happens with the actuall config on the secondary after disabling SSO?

Thanks

Willem

Easy... Sort of. You need to disable AP SSO and then what I would do is default the redundancy IP on the primary and factory default the on that was the HA pair. Then configure the HA pair as a normal WLC and setup the access points high availability
