HP Internal wireless cards

Hi All,

Been having problems recently with HP wireless internal cards where they seem to drop connection every 15mins....need to do a repair in order to get connected back to the wireless lan. Is there a known issue with HP laptops?. Tried using a PCMCIA Cisco 350 wireless adapter, this seems to work fine, any ideas?

Hi Harry,

HP don't make wireless NIC. Can you check and find out what model you've got? Have you tried to update the NICs firmware?

What error messages can you see from the WLC/AP during the disconnect/reconnect?

When the problem occurs, what is the signal strength indicator?

Thanx for your reply.....the cards are intel. I will look @ the signal strength, but it does not drop out when I use a cisco 350 wireless card.
