Hi All,

I have 1100 series access point, where as it my clients are 802.11B. The clients are not detecting this network.

so what are the changes i need APs

Please help me out on this issue

Make sure the clients have the correct SSID configured which matches with the AP. Thinking, if its a typo on your side on the client.

Use Express setup and Express security to create an SSID, to which you can readily connect. Once this is done, you can go under security settings to add WEP key or radius authentication.

Hi, i have the same situation where i have 3com USB wireless client (54Mbs 11g). I have configured my 1100 AP with SSID and enable broadcasting. but i can't see this wireless network.

It seems these access points 1100 rn 802.11b clients only and you need to upgrade in order for 802.11g cliens associate with these Access Points. But i need to know IOS upgrade or what?
