I need to connect two computers on the same network via a wireless router, that will have the potential for cold weather climate (New York City), and be in a weatherproof type of apparatus. I am not sure exactly what my options are. Any suggestions, would be appreciated. Running cable is not an option.
The BR1310 is your best option. Anything you place outdoors will need to have cable connecting it to an indoor unit. The 1310 has an integrated antenna that is suitable for under 1.2 miles. Since the 1310 is just a bridge, you will be able to extend the existing network to the remote site without the need for a router.
You have the ability to locate the indoor power injector up to 300' away from the outdoor unit and then have up to another 300' of ethernet cable to connect to your network.
