IEEE802.11 Reacon code

Hello.

IEEE802.11,1999 Edition standart define reason code

0x8 - Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS

But what exactly it mean?

For example there are two station AP1(non root) & AP2(root), on AP2 in log we see

"Interface Dot11Radio0, Deauthenticating Station хххх.хххх.хххх Reason: Sending station has left the BSS"

1) Who send management frame with reason 0x8? AP1 or AP2?

2) Who is detect that station leave BSS? AP1 or AP2?

3) How station detect leaving BSS?

thank you for answers.

Along with this the Mac address of the device getting deauthenticated would be displayed. From that, one can identify which station is getting deauthenticated. In this case AP1 is sending station and AP2 is no longer able to receive the signal from AP1 or signal might be intermittent.
