Hi

I had a working controller which we rebooted after 2 years or so.

We added additional license to the controller and now it is inactive.

It doesnt expire, yet it is not being used.

you can see the license state is inactive, and it never expires.   We only have 25 ap licenses now we had 40 count before the reboot.

You only rebooted the controller or did a software update as well?

Nevertheless, I guess there is nothing we can do for you here on the forums. You need to contact TAC or the licensing desk (licesing@cisco.com) directly so they can generate a new license for you.
